Bombardier C-Series / Airbus A220 Cabin Mockup

TMU Aerospace Engineering Centre (AEC), part of the Downsview Aerospace Innovation and Research (DAIR) consortium and the Advancing Engineering, Research & Innovation in Aerospace (AERIAS), consists of a cabin mockup for Bombardier CS100 aircraft. The cabin includes fuselage structure, passenger seats, galley, service door, HVAC and lighting systems. The MIMS Lab are conducting researches on MDO and HMI development.

Cabin Display Technology

Grayhill Touch Encoder

Grayhill’s touch encoder provides product development engineers simplified designs for industrial, digital audio and visual, medical, and off-highway markets. The touch encoder represents innovation in Human Machine Interface (HMI). It is an encoder with a P-CAP, high resolution touch screen that is capable of multiple programmable interactive widgets. Designers use an intuitive tablet development app that allow them to personalize multi-touch gestures, generate images, and customize the display.
